Springfield Park (Google Maps)
269 Springfield Drive
Bloomingdale, IL 60108
Join us for a free event geared specifically towards Park District professionals that will highlight an ongoing pond restoration project. We will provide a quick overview of the project discussing the current state of the restoration project before leading a walk around the site to point out key features of the project. This session is a unique opportunity to learn about a specific ecological restoration project with many parallels to ponds and stormwater basins throughout the region.
Light refreshments will be provided. The event will be hosted outside, so please dress for the weather.
Park in the south end of the long parking lot east of Springfield Drive and take the walking path north of the concession stand east towards the picnic shelter (gazebo) where the event will begin. There will be signs in the parking lot showing you where to go.
